In memory of Vladimir Morenets

June 28 marks the year when Volodymyr Pylypovych Morenets passed away (June 9, 1953 - June 28, 2021) — Professor of the Department of Literary Studies at NaUKMA, Doctor of Philology, Laureate of the Taras Shevchenko State Prize of Ukraine (1994), critic, translator, publicist. For more than a decade, Volodymyr Morenets has been the creator and leader of the humanitarian component of the Presidents ’MBA program at the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School, the author of exclusive humanitarian courses, and kmbs projects.

Lectures and meetings with Volodymyr Pylypovych, his wise and profound words, unsurpassed reading of poetry, nobility, and principled news in defending the genuine and honest are now remembered with great gratitude. His sympathy for Ukraine and intolerance of its enemies are more relevant than ever in the battle for our independence and freedom.
